Optics and mounting

The suitable optics for airsoft guns include mainly red dot sights and rifle scopes. Red dot sights are rather used on short airsoft guns (e.g. airsoft pistols, airsoft revolvers, more compact airsoft submachine guns), because they make it easier to aim at not-too-distant targets, (close range shooting). Riflescopes are more commonly used on long airsoft weapons (e.g. airsoft assault rifles, airsoft sniper rifles) because they allow more accurate shooting at longer distances. Besides the fact that red dot sights and rifle scopes make it easier to aim and increase the accuracy of airsoft guns, these devices are also a stylish design addition to airsoft guns. Some models of airsoft guns are not equipped with the possibility of installing a red dot sight or rifle scope. Therefore, you may need additional mounting rails, adapters, reducers, or other types of mounts to be able to install a red dot sight or riflescope on your airsoft gun.
