Airsoft Riflescopes
Riflescopes make it easier to aim at longer distances than red dot sights. The parameters and size of the rifle scope should be chosen according to whether it is to be mounted e.g. on an airsoft submachine gun or on an airsoft sniper rifle. For an airsoft submachine gun, a more compact rifle scope with a smaller magnification (e.g. 4 x 20 / 4 x 32) is sufficient; on the other hand, a large rifle scope with a strong magnification (e.g. 3-9 x 40 / 6-12 x 50) is suitable for an airsoft sniper rifle. Riflescopes with variable magnification (ZOOM) are usually marked e.g. 3-9 x 40. The 3-9 indication tells you that you can zoom in on the target image from three times magnification up to nine times magnification. The 40 figure represents the width of the lens in millimeters. It's not enough to just put the scope on your gun. It needs to be adjusted horizontally and vertically in accordance with the instructions.
