CLASSIFICATION OF AIRSOFT GUNS
Airsoft guns can be divided according to different criteria. As in the case of real firearms, we can divide them into long (e.g. rifle, sniper rifle, shotgun and submachine gun) and short (pistol and revolver) airsoft guns. We also divide them according to what gives them energy. Here we distinguish mechanical (spring) guns, CO2 powered guns or electric guns (powered by batteries). We can also divide them according to their performance into categories with energy from 0.30 to 1.00 J, from 1.00 to 2.00 J, from 2.00 to 3.00 J and from 3.00 J and more. Depending on the energy of the gun, it is necessary to choose pellets in terms of weight. As a rule, the cheaper the airsoft gun, the more plastic it is and vice versa, the more expensive the design, the more metal parts it contains. Among the most successful manufacturers of airsoft guns are certainly ASG (Action Sport Games - Denmark) and Umarex (Germany). We purchase airsoft guns exclusively from trusted distributors who provide a proper two-year warranty.
SHORT AIRSOFT GUNS
These include pistols and revolvers. The simplest design, usually with low-energy pellets, are so-called manual pistols. They must be cocked before each shot. The pellet is fired by releasing the previously compressed spring by pulling the trigger. They are among the cheapest. Stronger are airsoft pistols and revolvers powered by a 12 g CO2 cartridge which is usually inserted into the stock, or powered by Green Gas which is filled into the magazine. A single cartridge or filling up will last about 50 rounds. Such guns no longer need to be cocked before each shot. Some short airsoft guns are also powered by electric batteries and are generally capable of firing in full-auto mode.
LONG AIRSOFT GUNS
They mainly include various types of rifles, sniper rifles, shotguns and submachine guns. These can also work on a manual, CO2 or electric principle. With some submachine guns there is also a combined principle. It usually combines an electrical system with a manual system, which means that when the cartridge loses pressure (it is emptied), you can fire using manual cocking. Submachine guns powered by batteries usually have a switch to regulate full-auto and semi-auto modes.
