Based on the success of Ekol gas (expansion) weapons, the Turkish manufacturer Voltran Silah Sanayi has decided to expand its offer with air pistols and rifles. Model ES 66 Compact in cal. 4.5 mm/.177 is an air pistol powered by a capsule containing 12 g of CO2, which is inserted into a separate magazine together with steel BBs shots and withstands approximately 50 shots. It is characterized by a durable all-metal design, thanks to which it looks very massive, the SA / DA (Single Action / Double Action) trigger system, a magazine with a capacity of 14 steel BBs shots and a muzzle velocity of up to 140 m/s. The overall length is 172 mm and the weight is 739 g. Instead of a manual safety, this model has a safety release of firing mechanism. Ekol ES 66 Compact is an imitation of the famous Belgian pistol Browning HP35 in compact version.
