DEFENCE

In the category called DEFENCE you will find a rich offer of professional defense equipment used by professionals in various armed forces, but also defense equipment designed and intended for ordinary people. However, the offer also includes various accessories for defense equipment. The most popular defensive equipment certainly includes defensive sprays, telescopic batons and electric stun guns. Remember that defensive equipment must be used sensibly and responsibly, i.e. within the framework and limits of so-called necessary defense. The basic rule is that the defense should be proportionate to the attack and should only deter a direct threat of attack or the attack itself. Therefore, if you find yourself in an uncomfortable situation where you are forced to use a means of defense, try to assess the situation as reasonably as possible. Defensive means are meant to be a protector, not an attacker.

DEFENSIVE SPRAYS

Defensive sprays are an extremely popular means of defense because they are affordable, effective, compact (can be carried in a pocket or purse), and do not require physical contact with the perpetrator. You can use them to defend yourself against attacking people, dogs or even bears. Choosing a defensive spray for the inexperienced may not be easy. They differ from each other in different ways. First of all, they differ in the active substance. The CR substance is considered to be the most effective and suitable for defense against both humans and animals. OC is also suitable for defense against humans and animals. CS is considered effective only against humans. The concentration of the active substance in the defense spray is also decisive. Defensive sprays also differ in the form of the shot. This can take the form of jet, gel and foam. These forms are ideal for defense indoors, when there is no risk of contaminating the whole area and hitting persons other than the attacker. The spray form is suitable for outdoor defense. For defense against bears, it is advisable to select defensive sprays of 100 ml or more in order to have the greatest possible range.

TELESCOPIC BATONS

Telescopic batons are defensive devices that require already close contact with the attacker. They are used extensively by armed forces around the world as a defensive and law enforcement tool. In countries where their possession is permitted, they are also a popular means of defense for ordinary people, especially men. Because they can be folded to a relatively small size, they can be concealed in a pocket. Telescopic batons are primarily divided into hardened (tempered steel) and unhardened (standard steel). However, there is also a wide range of lengths to choose from. Accessories such as a flashlight, crowbar, axe, wire cutters and others can be installed on some telescopic batons. One of the most successful manufacturers of these batons is clearly the Czech brand ESP (Euro Security Products), whose telescopic batons have been winners in quality and durability in many comparisons with batons of competing brands.

PARALYZERS

Electric stun guns use a discharge of electric current from electrodes. They are powered by built-in or replaceable batteries. They also require physical contact with the attacker. A special electrical stun gun that fires electrodes into the distance is called a TASER, but this is banned as a means of defense for civilians in many countries. Professional electric stun guns used by the armed forces are mainly characterized by their larger size but higher efficiency. The manufacturer of such professional stun guns is, for example, the brand ESP (Euro Security Products). Electric stun guns for ordinary people are characterized by their compact size, whether in the shape of a pen or a small flashlight. The manufacturers of such defensive stun guns are UZI and Beast Defense. Some stun guns are combined, for example, with a defensive spray or flashlight.

BATONS, TONFAS AND BASEBALL BATS

Standard batons and tonfas are means of defense and law enforcement especially for professionals in the armed forces. Modern batons and tonfas are manufactured from durable polymers. Because of their larger dimensions (large length) they are especially suitable for professionals, not for ordinary people, as you would hardly be able to carry them in everyday life. However, there is nothing to prevent you from keeping them handy, for example, somewhere in the car. Although a baseball bat is primarily a sporting tool, why not also keep it in your car just in case?

BRASS KNUCKLES

The brass knuckles are popular means of defense, especially among men. In many countries its possession is prohibited. The use of this means of defense requires physical contact with the attacker. Inappropriate use of the brass knuckles can cause serious injury. Therefore, when using brass knuckles, due consideration must be given to the actual need to strike and the intensity of the blow.

ACCESSORIES FOR DEFENSIVE EQUIPMENT

Accessories include attachments such as holsters for defensive sprays, batons, stun guns as well as belts on which these defensive devices can be clamped via the holsters. However, accessories also include e. g. spare batteries and chargers for stun guns and much more.
