These unique guns of the 1911 .22 LR platform are licensed and tested by COLT as authentic COLT Government models. Manufactured by a leading firearms manufacturer in the world - Umarex. All functional parts of this gun have the character of the original version of these models.

The original Colt 1911 is a self-loading pistos for .45 ACP cartridge which was designed by John Moses Browning. Into the arms of the US Army it got in 1924 and with the only significant modernization in 1924 it served as a standard handgun up to 1985 when it was replaced by the Beretta 92 F (M9) caliber 9 mm Luger (some special army units still use it). It enjoyed the deployment in four major wars (the First and Second World War, the Korean War and the Vietnam War), and countless other armed conflicts. The gun has a standard magazine for 7 rounds and is equipped with a manual and palm safety.
An exceptional functional part is mainly the slide of the gun, which is worth mentioning in particular because of the high-quality manufacturing process and finishing of this gun part, as it was designed and is manufactured by CNC-machining from high-quality aluminum alloy. An authentic semi-automatic mechanism, grip palm safety and originally shaped lever of the safety are only a fraction of the facts and certain assumptions that the gun naturally has in itself. This impression and guarantee security more than to the satisfaction of the holder was created by a leading gun manufacturer who established  a high standard scale of technical parameters and properties of the gun. The gun stock has rubber grips that are very well gripped in your palm, sights with 3 points and extended magazine release are also part of the production plan design according to which this type of gun is produced.
