Expandable baton 20" HE hardened, black + BHT 55 Button - Unlock

The long-awaited novelty by the Czech manufacturer of defence equipment ESP in the form of a hardened (tempered) telescopic baton with push-button closure. The baton can be extended by a swing of the handle or by pulling the tip. The baton also extends directly when pulled from its case. It closes by pressing the safety button on the end cap and pushing on the tip. During development, this baton was tested 6,000 times in the form of opening and closing it and it continued to work. The ExBT-20HE model is 20“ (508 mm) in length. The length when closed is 8.8“ (224 mm). The weight is 480 g. It is equipped with a thinner ergonomic handle. Plastic rotary holster model BHT-55 is also included in the package.

Hardened telescopic batons are designed for professional use in the most demanding conditions. The baton is used for quick self-defense in various conflict situations. However, thanks to the wide range of accessories, it enables use in a wide range of official tasks and interventions. Compared to unhardened batons, hardened telescopic batons are made of a stronger material which is also hardened (tempered). The hardening process significantly improves the physical and mechanical properties of the metal. Even with a very strong blow, the baton is not deformed. The abrasion-resistant surface finish is protected by black nickel-zinc or white chrome. The hardness of the material from which the telescopic batons are made is approx. 50 HRC. They are thus suitable for use by police, security agencies and other armed or rescue forces. Of course, the properties of hardened baton will be appreciated by more demanding users in self-defense. A huge advantage of the telescopic baton is its compactness. However, it opens to full length with a quick swing and remains secured in this positio. ESP telescopic batons are used by various armed forces around the world and are the winner of many official and unofficial tests of strength and reliability when compared to competing baton manufacturers.

NOTICE

The new ESP models of telescopic batons with push-button closure are not compatible with accessories that are installed by replacing the baton tip (e.g. flashlights, crowbars, strike tips, etc.).
