The German brand Walther is famous for its rich offer of firearms, especially pistols. Thanks to the popularity of this brand, there was a demand for e.g. airsoft and air weapons of this brand. Therefore, the Walther brand decided to grant licensing rights for the production of airsoft and air replicas of its weapon models. At present, such licensed replicas are produced e.g. by Umarex (Germany).
