LUKY A KUŠE

Jednoznačne patria medzi najstaršie lovecké a vojnové zbrane, ktoré od najstarších čias až do dnes prešli rôznymi úpravami a modernizáciami. Sú to mechanické zariadenia, ktoré strieľajú šípy rôznych dĺžok vďaka energii dodanej z prudkého uvoľnenia extrémne napnutej tetivy v kombinácii s napnutými ramenami kuše alebo luku.

Podľa slovenskej legislatívy ich môžeme rozdeliť do dvoch skupín. Luky a kuše s napínacou silou do 150 N a nad 150 N. Zariadenia s napínacou silou do 150 N môžeme považovať za hračky. Naopak, luky a kuše s napínacou silou nad 150 N považujeme v súlade so Zákonom č. 190/2003 Z. z. o strelných zbraniach a strelive za zbrane kat. D, teda voľnopredajné osobám starším ako 18 rokov. Pri lukoch a kušiach sa však skôr zvykne uvádzať napínacia sila v jednotkách lbs. 150 N po prepočte predstavuje cca 33.7 lbs. Každý luk alebo kuša s napínacou silou väčšou ako 33.7 lbs je už zbraňou kat. D, a nie hračkou. Avšak aj mechanické zbrane s napínacou silou menšou ako 33.7 lbs môžu byť nebezpečné a je potrebné s nimi zaobchádzať opatrne a zodpovedne a v súlade s návodom a bezpečnostnými pokynmi.

Taktiež pamätajte aj na to, že s lukmi a kušami s napínacou silou nad 150 N by ste mali strieľať len na schválených a bezpečných strelniciach.
