WHICH AIR RIFLE MODELS WERE THE HITS OF THE 2020 SEASON?

Slowly the spring will start, the weather will be more pleasant, people will finally be outside in the yard. Don't know how to use your free time after work or on the weekend? Are you considering trading in your old air rifle for a new one? Or are you considering buying your very first air rifle and can't decide which model would be the right one? Read on to find out which air rifle models were the hits of the 2020 shooting season.

GAMO ROADSTER

Gamo's Roadster model air rifle is a model that builds on the success of the 2019 Replay models. The Replay model and its various versions have gained success due to the fact that it is the only break barrel air rifle to have a magazine with a Generation 1 reloading system. However, the downside of this model was the fact that the rifle lacked conventional fixed sights due to the shape and size of the loading system. Thus, shooting was only possible with a rifle scope. The Roadster model now has a 2nd Generation loading mechanism that is smaller, and therefore there are fixed sights on the rifle as well. The loading system with the magazine works in such a way that every time you break the barrel, the pellet will load itself into the barrel, showing you on the magazine how many pellets you have left in the magazine. The capacity of the magazine is 10 pellets. This system makes the Roadster series rifles really unique and popular. They are available in both 4.5 mm and 5.5 mm calibers.

BLACK OPS PENDLETON

Modern break barrel air rifle Pendleton in cal. 4.5 mm by French brand B.O. Manufacture with a tactical shape resembling assault rifles or submachine guns will attract thanks to its design mainly younger shooters. The rifle has top, side and bottom rails with a width of 22 mm, on which you can install a wide range of accessories, such as laser sight, rifle scope or red dot sight, flashlight, bipod and others. The stock is telescopic, i. e. adjustable at several lengths, and made of durable polymer. The sights are adjustable and fiber optic. There is also a manual safety against unintentional discharge, which is located in front of the trigger. You can assemble the grip to your liking to best fit your hand, thanks to the three pairs of different variations included in the package. This model has become popular due to its unique design and, most importantly, its excellent price considering the air rifle's equipment. In fact, the price also includes a rifle scope!

SIG SAUER MCX AND MPX

Among the air rifles powered by CO2 system, Sig Sauer rifles are becoming more and more popular. They are produced in two lengths. The MCX model is in standard length and the MPX model is a more compact version. They are also offered with or without accessories such as a red dot sight and rifle scope. The MCX and MPX rifles are powered by an 88 g CO2 cartridge and the magazine capacity is up to 30 pellets. They feature a frame made of metal, detachable sights, trigger safety, a solid plastic stock and a picatinny rail (22 mm) on which you can install various sighting devices such as a red dot sight or a rifle scope. These replicas are made in Japan, which is why they boast a high degree of quality and are almost indistinguishable from the real models.
