If you use a stun gun with an intensity of shock lasting about 1 to 2 seconds, you will cause the attacker weak muscle cramps with pain and there is a good chance that even with such a short shock you will scare him away and give up the attack. However, if the attacker is physically fit and resilient, it is necessary to use the stun gun in an intensity lasting several seconds, which will cause him strong muscle cramps, lay him on the ground and lose his orientation for a few seconds to minutes. The stun guns are powered by a built-in rechargeable battery or by replaceable batteries. Before using the stun gun, it is necessary to read the instructions in detail so that you know which button has which function. It does not hurt to try basic defense techniques with it, as if you would use it in real self-defense.

The market is full of stun guns with different voltage levels (from 200,000 to 2,000,000 Volts), different shapes and sizes. There are also electric stun guns with OC spray or a built-in LED.  The smaller the stun gun, the better it can be hidden and worn, but handling it can be worse during defense. The certified manufacturer of electric stun guns is the American brand UZI, which deals mainly with the production of small models, and the Czech brand ESP, which deals with the production of professional models for the armed forces. The American brand UZI even offers a pen-sized model. The stun gun is suitable for defense not only against human but also animal attackers. P However, a baton-shaped stun gun is more suitable for dogs, with the help of which you can hit it even at a distance of about 1 meter. The models of the Czech brand ESP (POWER MAX and SCORPY MAX models) are considered to be the most effective, but their dimensions are larger, but they are powered by strong 9 V batteries and various security forces are armed with them all over the world.
