Airsoft gear and accessories to take your game to the next level

Do you have an airsoft gun at home and are tired of just shooting in your backyard or shooting with a small circle of friends? Are you considering signing up for a proper airsoft event where you get to experience some serious action with all that entails? Organized professional airsoft events have rules and conditions. The basic condition for participation is definitely some airsoft equipment, especially for safety reasons, such as pads and protective masks. So if you only have basic equipment or no equipment at all, read on to find out what you may need at such events.

AIRSOFT EQUIPMENT

Clothes, uniforms, vests - What to wear will depend on what your role will be. Whether you will be playing for example a member of a SWAT team, a soldier or for example a criminal or a terrorist. In the case of a SWAT team member, black clothing complemented with black tactical vests and balaclavas is ideal. If you are playing a soldier, it is ideal to reach for uniforms that can also be fitted with knee and elbow pads. Uniforms should also be combined with tactical vests of military designs. In the case of the role of a criminal or terrorist, it is purely up to your imagination, the criminal can also be dressed in ordinary clothes. However, since even criminals usually want to conceal their identity, a balaclava will be in order.

Helmets, goggles - Choosing the right helmet will also depend on your role in the game.  There are simple helmets without the possibility of installing other accessories, such as the Royal MICH STYLE, and helmets on which you can install other accessories (e. g. flashlight, camera), such as the Royal IBH STYLE helmet. If the helmet does not have a transparent visor, it is a good idea to combine it with suitable goggles that will protect your eyesight.

Protective masks - A hit to the face is very unpleasant, so don't forget about airsoft masks. Masks are divided into full face masks or lower face masks that only cover the nose, mouth and cheek area. Lower face masks should therefore be combined with suitable protective goggles. Some can be combined with helmets.

Tactical gloves - A popular type of gloves in the airsoft game are the so-called HALF-FINGERS, which reach approximately to the middle of the fingers. The palm part is non-slip and the knuckle area is reinforced.

Footwear - Choosing the right shoes also depends on the venue, whether the event is held outdoors or indoors. Accordingly, you need to choose in terms of strength, waterproofness and of course comfort.

Pads - Apart from the head, the elbows and knees are most at risk in a fall, so we recommend focusing on pads to protect these areas in particular. If you want to save money, it is ideal to purchase a set of knee and elbow pads.

AIRSOFT ACCESSORIES

Backpacks, hydration packs - In order to have various accessories, equipment and gear with you and to have something to transport them in, you can definitely use a proper tactical backpack. The range of backpacks is really very wide and you should choose them according to size, equipment and color. Hydration packs are a handy tool to keep you hydrated. We don't recommend pouring flavored and sweetened drinks into them, but pure and mineral water.

Radios - Radios allow you to communicate with your team, especially for large events that take place in large and rugged locations such as large building complexes and forests. You can buy microphones and headsets to go with the radios to free up your hands.

Camouflage - For the purpose of camouflaging various objects, places and spaces you can use e. g. camouflage nets, colored sprays or camouflage tapes. Elastic or fabric masking tapes may also come in handy, for example, when repairing torn clothing or other accessories.

Gun cases - Don't forget that you have to bring in and take out your airsoft guns to the event, as well as to transport and carry them during the game. Suitable gun holsters will serve you well for it. 

Tactical caps - Tactical caps are usually equipped with a velcro adhesive placed above the visor, on which you can stick e. g. your team’s name, emblem or logo. They also serve as sun protection when you are not fighting.
