Limbs - AR-series HUNTING 150 lbs

Using bolts weighing less than 12 grams (185 grains) will damage the limbs, string, or crossbow (trigger). These limbs have a special fiberglass and carbon composite. Therefore, they have higher kinetic energy than classic fiberglass limbs with the same draw weight.

These limbs come complete with a string, limb tips, and a block for the AR-series open system (quick assembly and disassembly without the use of screws). They are designed for Steambow AR-6 Stinger II SURVIVAL pistol crossbows (single-shot model). The limbs are not compatible with the first generation of AR-6 Stinger I crossbows.

AR-series HUNTING limbs have a draw weight of 150 pounds. To use them on older AR-6 Stinger II models (closed system), simply uninstall the block.

These limbs are designed for shooting at longer distances and have high impact energy on the target. The manufacturer recommends these powerful limbs only for the AR-6 Stinger II SURVIVAL single-shot crossbows. Due to their high power, they are not designed for models with a lever cocking system. The limbs deliver high performance, making them suitable for hunting. The high kinetic energy turns a hunting bolt into a deadly projectile. The limbs are not designed for training or rapid firing. The manufacturer recommends using only heavier bolts weighing at least 12 grams! The limbs also require more care and do not tolerate mistakes. Even a single dry firing can cause damage to the limb tips or the limbs themselves. We therefore recommend using metal tips with the product code: PK534 (0000560).

Not all combinations of limbs, crossbows, and bolts are suitable!

Recommended limb combinations with AR series crossbow models:

• The AR-6 Stinger II Compact crossbow is designed for fast and dynamic shooting, so it only works really well with lower draw weights. For this reason, we recommend CQ (35 lbs) or standard (55 lbs) limbs for optimal use.
• The AR-6 Stinger II Tactical excels in its versatility. It is suitable for use with limbs with a draw weight of 35 to 120 lbs.
• The AR-6 Stinger II Survival, on the other hand, is a hunting crossbow and therefore needs sufficient power for hunting purposes. You will get this power from limbs with a power of 90 to 150 lbs.

Damage caused by dry firing or using a bolt that is too light is not covered by the warranty.
