Shotgun Umarex T4E HDS 68

The manufacturer Umarex introduces new types of over-the-counter weapons with the Defense-Training Markers label under the T4E brand. These new types of weapons have several uses. By loading rubber projectiles or projectiles containing a tear gas cartridge, they can be used as effective means of defenses. By loading projectiles containing colored substances, they can be used as paintball weapons. Model HDS / TS 68  is a double-barreled weapon in the shape of a shotgun and fires projectiles in the cal. .68 (diameter approx. 17.27 mm). The projectiles are inserted directly into the barrel after unlocking and breaking the barrel. Before firing, use the switch lever to select which barrel fires first. The possibility of firing both projectiles at the same time is also interesting. The barrels are placed next to each other. The weapon is powered by a cartridge containing 12 g of CO2. The cartridge is installed to the handle. Thanks to the top Quick-Piercing function, the CO2 cartridge is activated not immediately when it is inserted, but only by a light hit to the bottom of the handle, thanks to which the weapon is quickly usable. The basic construction is made of metal and supplemented with polymer parts, which achieved a balanced weight of 1,700 g. The total length is 490 mm. The trigger is secured by the so-called trigger safety. The energy of the projectile is up to 16 J and the muzzle velocity varies up to 100 m/s, depending on the weight of the projectiles. There is also a mounting rail with a width of 22 mm on the forend, on which you can install e.g. laser sight or flashlight. An interesting training and defensive weapon.

The CO2 cartridge lasts about 10 shots.
