The manufacturer Umarex is launching new types of over-the-counter weapons under the T4E brand called Defense-Training Markers. These new types of weapons have several uses. When loaded with rubber projectiles or projectiles containing tear gas cartridges, they can be used as an effective defensive mean. When loaded with projectiles containing color substance, they can be used as paintball weapons. The HDR 50 takes the form of a revolver and shoots projectiles in cal. .50 (diameter approx. 12.70 mm). The magazine capacity is 6 projectiles. The trigger system is DAO (Double Action Only). The cartridge is installed in the handle. Thanks to the top-notch Quick-Piercing function, the CO2 cartridge is activated not immediately when inserted, but only by a light blow to the bottom of the handle, making the gun quick to use. The basic structure is metal and complemented with polymer parts, thus achieving a balanced weight of 675 g. The total length is 250 mm. The trigger is protected by a so-called trigger safety. The projectile energy is up to 11 J and the muzzle velocity varies up to 135 m / s depending on the weight of the projectiles. This model is also equipped with a lower mounting rail with a width of 22 mm, on which you can install e.g. a laser sight or flashlight.
