QPQ Training Accessories

The Czech brand QPQ is dedicated to the production of training aids and accessories for firearms. These aids and accessories are mostly made of plastic, with the help of a 3D printer. The training aids consist of products suitable for practicing gun handling during shooting, maintenance, etc. Other accessories are composed of e.g., stands and gun holders, or cases for cartridges or guns. However, the QPQ brand also deals with customized 3D printing according to the customer's wishes. Which gadgets are interesting for a shooter?

DISCHARGING CARTRIDGES

The QPQ brand primarily offers two versions of the discharging cartridges, one made entirely from plastic via a 3D printer and the other made from the original cartridge case and supplemented with plastic components. Discharging cartridges with original cartridges have a longer service life than purely plastic ones. However, both versions protect the firing pin from damage due to a silicone insert placed in place of the primer. They are available in the most common calibers (e.g., 9 x 19, 9 x 17, .45 ACP, .223 Rem., .22 LR, 7.62 x 39, and others). They are used for training in safe gun handling. The so-called magazine insert is also related to discharging cartridges. When this insert is in the magazine, the slide does not stay in the rear position as it does when the magazine is empty.

BARREL SAFETY RODS AND TRAINING BARRELS

Barrel safety rods for weapons of various models and calibers are mainly used to train defensive techniques with the weapon. The range of barrel safety rods also includes versions for SA 58 or GP STRIBOG. The barrel safety rod is inserted into the barrel in the direction pointing away from the ammunition chamber.

Training barrels are also primarily used for training defensive techniques with the weapon. The training barrel also includes an imitation of an ammunition chamber, which, however, cannot be loaded with cartridges. There is also a training barrel for e.g., CZ SP-01 or Glock 17.

OTHER ACCESSORIES

Also worth mentioning are the training magazines and magazine recoil pads for the MANTIS system. MANTIS is a system (shooting trainer) that shows, among other things, how much you pull the gun down during shooting by means of a device attached to the gun. The training magazine does not catch the slide (it does not stay in the rear position when the slide is manipulated). You are also not in danger of loading a round into the chamber from this magazine. These magazines and recoil pads are available for a variety of firearm models.

A handy accessory is also a magazine for easy application of target patches.
