How to choose a suitable compound bow for teenagers?

For the selection of bows, personal contact is the best. If that is not possible, we need to know at least the height of the shooter and his strength ability. In addition, compound bows are special because with the more expensive models you can adjust both the draw weight and the length of the bow. Compound bow's draw weight is adjustable in a range from power for children, up to full hunting values, for example in a draw weight from 5 up to 70 lbs. With such a bow you can start archery and the same model can stay with you permanently. For the above-mentioned bows, an accessory is needed for the shooter, namely a string release, as well as armguard. Such an armguard prevents the skin from abrasion after the shot.

Always keep the safety of your children and young people in mind. Never allow them to point a bow at people or animals.
