Tactical flashlight Artax

Tactical flashlight from the Czech brand ESP with a maximum luminous flux of 1,900 lm and a range of up to 211 meters, which is achieved by the Luminus SST-40 LED chip. The intelligent electronics handles lighting in 5 modes - 4 different intensities and strobe. The ARTAX flashlight is the ideal light source for armed or rescue forces as well as for outdoor activities. The flashlight is powered by one battery type 18650, which you will find in the package. Two non-rechargeable CR 123A batteries can also be used for power supply. The ARTAX flashlight can also be used as a means of defense. You first dazzle the aggressor with a bright light or strobe, which you promptly trigger with the tactical switch on the tailpiece. If the attack continues, then you can subsequently use a range of different strikes with this flashlight, which has a flashlight head topped with strike tips that increase the intensity and effect of the strike.

The compact body of the ARTAX flashlight is made of highly resistant aviation duralumin type 6061. The front glass is made of polycarbonate. The flashlight is IP68 certified, so you can take it out in dusty environments, heavy rain and it withstands a 2 m deep dive. The distinctively grooved surface, which is typical for ESP flashlights, provides a solid and secure grip even in the rain or in a sweaty hand. On the flashlight's tailpiece, you'll find a tactical switch to light the ARTAX in 100 % power or strobe mode. A light squeeze allows the light to stay on only as long as you hold the switch button (tactical mode). Other light modes are selected by a side button found on the head (100 % power, 50 % power, 15 % power, 0.5 % power).

The flashlight has a built-in USB-C connector that is protected by a rubber cap. Thanks to it, you can charge the embedded 18650 type battery directly in the flashlight whenever you have a power source available. In this way, you can fully charge the flashlight in about 4 hours. The flashlight cannot be used while it is charging. The charging cable is included in the package. The package also includes a wrist strap.

There is a colored LED indicator in the side button that shows the charge level of the inserted battery for 5 seconds after the flashlight is turned on:

• Green: 100 – 70 %,
• orange: 70 – 30 %,
• red: 30 – 10 %,
• red flashing: 10 - 1 %

The same LED indicator informs you of the charging status:

• Red: battery is charging
• green: the battery is fully charged
• orange: incorrectly inserted or damaged battery

Battery life in each mode:
