The Steambow PROTECTOR string for limb used by AR-series pistol crossbows is designed for limb with product code PK572.
This string is made of 100 % Dyneema synthetic fibers. This makes it extremely durable and robust. Dyneema is one of the strongest fibers in the world (stronger than steel or Kevlar). The center wrap is made of BCY Halo threads, one of the best materials for wraps. It will withstand a high number of shots before you need to re-wrap it. With regular maintenance, this string will last for several years of use. We recommend lubricating the string with a quality string wax! This will significantly extend its service life. Lubricate the crossbow rail with a quality lubricant!
