This is a safety bolt - a safety for the Steambow AR-M10 series crossbows.
You should never shoot without an bolt, the so-called dry fire, can damage the string and limbs of the crossbow. This M10 safety reliably prevents empty shots, the crossbow simply cannot be cocked if the last bolt is not in the magazine. This safety bolt can be easily installed in the M10 magazine without the use of tools. The magazine does not need to be disassembled and the safety bolt can be uninstalled at any time. Even with the safety bolt installed, you can still load 10 bolts into the magazine. The capacity of the M10 magazine is not reduced by this! The M10 safety bolt is made of durable PA12 nylon, weather resistant and designed to withstand heavy outdoor use.
