Steambow AR-Series - Limb module PROTECTOR 135 lbs

PROTECTOR limb with quick-release block from Steambow for AR-series pistol crossbows (AR-6 II, AR-M10, AR-B08, and PD-5), as well as AR-6 Stinger II Survival Hunting.

These are the most powerful limbs for the tactical cocking system (cocking by breaking the stock). Not suitable for the CQ cocking system (draw rod). The limbs deliver up to 36 Joules of kinetic energy.

The PROTECTOR limb is approximately 20 mm narrower than other AR-series limbs, and also 20 mm narrower when cocked. A crossbow equipped with these limbs is more compact and easier to handle in tight spaces. Ideal for defense.

The limb uses a special carbon fiber and fiberglass composition, allowing it to generate more energy with less draw weight compared to fiberglass-only limbs. It uses a dedicated PROTECTOR string and duraluminum tips that are extremely durable.

We recommend using heavier bolts, such as heavy carbon hunting bolts or War bolts. The limb is equipped with a quick-release mounting block for AR-series models (Stinger AR-6 II, AR-M10, B08). If you plan to use it with the PD-5 model, a different mounting block is required (not included).

Technical specifications:

• Draw weight: 135 lbs
• Kinetic energy: 36 J
• Length: 42.5 cm
• Width: 2 cm
• Height: 4 cm
• Min. bolt weight: 12 g
• Min. projectile weight .68: 5 g

Warning: When used with the AR-B08 crossbow, only heavy .68 projectiles (lead) must be used. Weight recommendations are the same as for bolts. Note that the ball feeder itself weighs approx. 7 g. The .68 projectile must have a minimum weight of 5 g!

Warning: When fired, the projectile has such strong kinetic energy that such an impact can cause serious injury or death! Projectile ricochets can also cause serious injury or even death! The combination of this limb with the AR-B08 crossbow is not intended for paintball use, it changes the performance of the weapon to a dangerous level and handling such a weapon belongs in the hands of experienced shooters.

Warning: The PROTECTOR limb is not recommended for beginners. Therefore, be extra careful and pay attention to the safety of those around you when shooting with this bowstring. You will feel considerable resistance when stringing the crossbow, a special stringing technique is required - safely and quickly.

This is the most powerful PROTECTOR limb from Steambow!
