Rescue knife RKY-01, with combined blade, yellow

The design of the RKY-01-S knife has an unusual construction and shape. It is a combination of a proven cutter of disposable handcuffs and belts and a reliable, tried and tested glass breaker. The ESP knife fits well in the hand and performs the usual function of a knife, but also offers the possibility to get in or out of the car and cut the seat belt in the event of a car accident, for example. In an emergency, it can also be used to remove a clothes of a wounded person without risking cutting them. The blade of the knife, made of high-quality cutlery steel type AUS-8, has a matt titanium grey colour. The blade is combined, which helps e.g. faster cutting of cords and ropes. The PVD finish significantly increases the blade's resistance to both corrosion and wear. The reliable LINER LOCK is released with the thumb. The handle of the knife has a pleasant ergonomic shape that fits well in the palm of the hand. An innovative metal clip solution has been used, which is partially recessed in the handle and does not protrude from it. This makes the knife great to hold for both right and left-handed users. The unique design of the knife is protected by an industrial pattern. The fine pattern on the surface of the scales prevents the knife from slipping out of the hand. It's made of durable PA6 polyamide, so it will last a lot. Thanks to the handy loop, you can hang the knife on your gear or a key chain. The knife is further equipped with a glass breaker, in which a tungsten carbide tip is embedded. Thanks to it, even with a not too strong blow, you can reliably break glass, e.g. side windows in cars. The breaking tip is not too sharp, so you cannot injure yourself with it during normal handling. With the multi-purpose cutter on the handle, you can easily cut through a car seat belt, through clothes when giving first aid and also through ESP textile handcuffs. Thanks to the special shape, the cutter can be quickly inserted under the fabric and the recessed blade minimizes the risk of injury. The length of the open knife is 220 mm, the length of the blade is 100 mm and the weight is 164 g.
