Replica revolver Kolser conversion Remington 1858, brass/ wood

Replica of the Remington 1858 conversion revolver by Spanish brand KOLSER. A historically significant American revolver that replaced percussion balls and black powder with a self-contained cartridge in Remington .46 Short caliber. This is a replica of the first revolver by Remington, which purchased the patent to drill out percussion cylinders for their cartridges from Smith & Wesson. This manufacturer was the first in the world to convert a percussion revolver into a cartridge firearm by simply converting the cylinder and hammer striker. The Western Replica is made of high-quality metal alloys - ZAMAK and brass. The grips are wooden. The luxurious polished brass finish combined with wooden grips highlights the uniqueness of this revolver. The replica has a movable and removable 6-shot cylinder, trigger mechanism, and loading lever. The package also includes imitation cartridges (6 pcs - product code ZD086), which can be inserted into the cylinder. The barrel length is 8" (20.30 cm), the total length is 35 cm, and the total weight of the revolver is 1.2 kg. This replica is not intended for firing any type or caliber of ammunition. It is for decorative or collectible purposes only.

The same caps that work with toy revolvers can be used on the imitation cartridges. When the trigger is pulled, the replica makes a shot sound. Product code for caps: KP001.
