The Pentagon Mars hiking backpack combines style and practicality, making it ideal for everyday urban use as well as challenging hikes. This backpack has a capacity of 30 litres and is made from high quality materials such as nylon RipStop fabric and polyester Oxford fabric. All zippers on the backpack are water repellent and are from the high quality Japanese manufacturer YKK®. The backpack is made for durability without compromising on weight - it's strong and lightweight at the same time. It has an easily removable foam back panel for convenient packing and carrying. The ergonomically designed back system and anatomically shaped air vents serve to keep your back comfortable. Ergonomic shoulder and hip straps are designed for a perfect fit. The backpack has adjustable shoulder padding and a height-adjustable chest strap. It also has additional waist straps that feature mesh pockets and reflective elements to improve visibility in low light conditions. The spacious main compartment includes an internal pocket for organizing gear. The Pentagon Mars backpack also has a hydrating system that was designed to accommodate a hydrating bag. There is a zippered closure on the bottom of the backpack for example to insulate shoes or dirty items. Inside the front pocket, there is a mesh pocket that allows you to organize your belongings better. On both sides there are panels for adjusting the elastic cords, to which you can attach other necessary equipment. The side mesh pockets are the perfect space for water bottles. This backpack includes a hidden pocket for e.g. documents or other important items. This pocket is located on the lower right side of the back and can be accessed quickly. Lastly, the backpack also contains a hidden bottom pocket that holds a raincoat with reflective elements. This backpack is grey in color and it is suitable for year-round wear.

What is RipStop? Ripstop is a high-strength fabric made using a special technique. Thicker threads are woven into the thin fabric at 5 - 8 mm intervals, giving the fabric a rugged texture - a visible square structure. The tear strength is increased. In practice, this works so that the tear snags on the reinforced fibre and does not continue.

What is OXFORD fabric? Polyester fabric is a durable and waterproof material with a wide range of uses. OXFORD fabrics are made from polyester fibers, so they are characterized by high durability and resistance to abrasion, stretching and tearing. A double coating with a colorless polyurethane layer ensures the water resistance of the fabric.

Backpack Care Instructions

• After using the backpack, especially outdoors, it is necessary to check that it is not damp. If it is damp or wet, it should be allowed to dry thoroughly. Do not dry in direct and harsh sunlight, this could cause discoloration or cause other damage to the material.
• Storing a wet (not dried) backpack can lead to the formation of mold on the surface and inside the backpack.
• Most backpacks are not designed to be machine washed and tumble dried. However, follow the symbols on the labels/tags for proper care.
• If the surface of the backpack becomes dirty, use mild soap, a soft cloth and warm water.
• Check the zippers from time to time; if they are clogged, e.g. with dust, clean them appropriately.
