Men's jacket Pentagon ARTAXES by Pentagon, a quality Greek manufacturer of tactical clothing. The material of the jacket is extremely high quality with lots of really modern materials used to protect you against the wind and keep you dry. It is a Softshell tactical jacket with a zipper with a special DWR Teflon® Teflon coating grade 4. Another protective layer of the jacket is a laminated Storm|Tex™ membrane. Warm feel and real heat production is taken care of by a third base layer of super soft Grid|Tech™ waffle fleece lining. The jacket is smooth, lightweight and elastic. The water resistance column is 8,000 mm / 24 h and the ARTAXES jacket has a breathability of 3,000 g / m2 / 24 h. The jacket uses high quality YKK® zippers and two main two-way zippers with practical pullers. The jacket is all elastic and therefore very comfortable. Elasticated waistband, numerous zipped pockets namely two main pockets at the front, two main pockets at the back, three smaller side pockets on the sleeves and two internal pockets. The sleeves are adjustable with Velcro. Hidden hood with a practical soft shield in the collar for bad weather always at hand. The elbows on the jacket are reinforced with a patch. There are also velcro panels for Velcro patches on the sleeve shoulders and hood. A really comfortable jacket suitable for bad weather, cold, wind and rain. It is not designed for extra strong winters. The color of the jacket is military camo. Wearing period: spring, autumn, winter.

GENERAL BASIC PRINCIPLES OF GARMENT CARE

• It is recommended to wash the new clothes before starting to use them.
• Always follow the symbols on the product label/tag for proper washing, care and handling.
• Before machine washing, remove anything that could mechanically damage the product. Check the pockets, fasten all zippers, buttons, hooks and Velcro fasteners that could damage delicate materials.
• It is recommended to wash, dry and iron the products reversed.

• Many products made of functional synthetic materials do not need to be ironed at all, as they hardly wrinkle.
• For washing products made of functional synthetic materials, it is recommended to use liquid detergents designed for this purpose. Do not add bleach, fabric conditioners or fabric softeners, as this may cause discoloration or other damage.
• It is recommended to rinse the products thoroughly after washing. Do not leave the products in the washing machine for unnecessary periods after washing.
• Do not leave a wet, damp and dirty product folded for a long time, e.g. in a backpack.
• It is not recommended to dry products in direct sunlight, radiators and other heating devices. Doing so may discolor the product or cause other forms of damage.
• It is recommended to store membrane products hanging in a dark place (closet, wardrobe). If they are stored folded, they must not be weighed down by another layer of folded clothing.
• It is not recommended to apply deodorants, perfumes and other cosmetics directly on the products.

THE SPECIFICS OF ORGANIC COTTON PRODUCTS

• For example, cotton T-shirts can be washed on standard programs even at higher speeds. If you use a tumble dryer, dry them only at low temperatures. Drying at higher temperatures can shrink the product by up to 10%.
• Wash printed cotton T-shirts inside out, at lower temperatures and do not iron the print.
• It is generally not recommended to use fabric softener and fabric conditioner.

THE SPECIFICS OF POLYESTER PRODUCTS

• Polyester products can be washed at lower temperatures with normal detergents. It is not recommended to use fabric conditioner and fabric softener.
• Some polyester products can also be tumble dried at low temperatures. Drying at higher temperatures may cause slight shrinkage of the product.
• Polyester can usually be ironed, but at a low temperature.
• Become thoroughly familiar with the symbols indicating the correct care indicated on the product label/tag.

THE SPECIFICS OF MERINO WOOL PRODUCTS

• It is recommended to hand wash only or machine wash on gentle cycle.
• Do not use fabric softeners and fabric conditioners.
• Due to its breathability and antibacterial properties, the product does not need to be washed frequently.

THE SPECIFICS OF DOWN-FILLED PRODUCTS

THE SPECIFICS OF FLEECE MATERIAL PRODUCTS

• Fleece materials are durable and breathable, there is no reason to wash them very often (e.g. jackets).
• Wash at lower temperatures on standard programs and with liquid detergents
• Do not use fabric softener and fabric conditioner.
• It can be dried in a tumble dryer, but at low temperatures.
• Ironing is recommended only occasionally, at a low temperature and over a piece of fabric.

RESTORING WATER REPELLENCY

• Products with a water-repellent finish can lose this property through irregular or improper care and even normal use.
• You will notice the loss of this property as water hitting the water-repellent finish does not form droplets, but quickly absorbs.
• Restoration of water repellency can be achieved by impregnation with suitable impregnation sprays.
• Apply the impregnating substance from the spray bottle by spraying onto the surface of the top fabric in accordance with the instructions on the spray bottle.
• Don't confuse water repellency with water resistance!
