Haversack is at first glance a simple bag, but in fact it is an advanced equipment for the Bushcraft range - lovers of outdoor activities in the woods and wilderness. It can easily hold larger water bottles, food and fire starting equipment, or even a smaller axe. It features a locking flap with a classic 1980's British fastening. On the inside of the front pocket, you can attach an insert from the VIS system (weapon holster / Helikon-Tex patent). On the sides you can store your axe, saw or knife with sheath. The Helikon-Tex Haversack  bag also has the popular MOLLE / PALS carry system, which is tightly stitched on the front as well as the side walls of the bag. You can attach all compatible accessories equipped with a MOLLE mount (bottles, holsters, and a variety of other available pro accessories) to these MOLLE carry system. The Helikon-Tex Haversack bag has a main comfortable length-adjustable shoulder strap with a 50 mm diameter. There is also a handy handle for carrying this bag in just one hand. The inner compartment has two side zippered compartments and also a handy loop for keys and the like. The open front compartment is available for a first aid kit or compass. Backpack Care Instructions

• After using the backpack, especially outdoors, it is necessary to check that it is not damp. If it is damp or wet, it should be allowed to dry thoroughly. Do not dry in direct and harsh sunlight, this could cause discoloration or cause other damage to the material.
• Storing a wet (not dried) backpack can lead to the formation of mold on the surface and inside the backpack.
• Most backpacks are not designed to be machine washed and tumble dried. However, follow the symbols on the labels/tags for proper care.
• If the surface of the backpack becomes dirty, use mild soap, a soft cloth and warm water.
• Check the zippers from time to time; if they are clogged, e.g. with dust, clean them appropriately.
