Small-bore rifle

In other words, a small caliber weapon that is calibrated for .22 ammunition and its various variants (e.g., .22 Short, .22 LR, .22 WMR, and others). It can take the form of a pistol, a revolver, and even a rifle. In hunting, small caliber guns are used for small game hunting. Otherwise, small-bore rifles are mainly used for sports target shooting. They are not carried or used for defense, as their stopping effect is low compared to other larger caliber firearms.
