Expandable baton 21" HE, hardened, khaki, ergonomic hand grip

Hardened expandable batons are designed for professional use in the most demanding conditions. The baton is used for quick self-defense in various conflict situations. However, thanks to a wide range of accessories, it allows for use in a wide range of service tasks and interventions. Compared to unhardened batons, hardened telescopic batons are made of a stronger material which is also hardened (tempered). The hardening process significantly improves the physical and mechanical properties of the metal. Even with a very strong blow, the baton is not deformed. The abrasion-resistant surface finish is protected by black nickel-zinc or white chrome. The hardness of the material from which the telescopic batons are made is approx. 50 HRC. The steel mark is ČSN 12 060 (according to the Czech standard). ESP hardened batons meet the requirements of the German standard for telescopic batons. They are thus suitable for use by police, security agencies and other armed or rescue forces. Of course, the features of the hardened baton will also be appreciated by more demanding users in self-defence. A huge advantage of the telescopic baton is its foldability. However, it opens to full length with a quick swing and remains secured in that position when needed. ESP expandable batons are used by various armed forces around the world and are the winner of many official and unofficial tests of strength and reliability when compared to competing baton manufacturers. The handle tube has a diameter of 21 mm and the wall thickness is 1.75 mm. The middle part of the baton has a diameter of 16 mm and the wall thickness is 1.5 mm. The end part of the baton has a diameter of 11 mm and the wall thickness is 2 mm. For each ESP expandable baton you can buy various accessories and attachments that can be easily installed on the baton, such as blades, crowbars, axes, flashlights and others. 

This model of hardened expandable baton has a black finish, an ergonomic anti-slip HE type handle and a maximum length of 21" (530 mm) when extended. The baton is 8.3" (210 mm) long when closed. Weight is 440 g. The package also includes a belt rotary holster that allows the baton to be rotated to different positions. The color of the handle and the holster is khaki (coyote tan).
