Crank cocking device by Ek-Archery for Guillotine X and M compound crossbows. With this device you can more easily and safely cock the string (load the crossbow). The crank cocking device by its mechanism will convert and reduce the recoil force, so you can almost effortlessly cock the string. Installation is simple. This crank cocking device is right-handed, for right-handed users. You simply install the device on the stock of the crossbow and wind the string with the handle of the crank cocking device all the way. In terms of strength and functionality, many shooters find this an easier method of cocking than using a rope cocker. The crank cocking device does not affect the shooting experience in any way, it just makes the cocking process easier and better. 

Note: Never install the cocking rope directly onto the string, but through the groove on the crossbow stock under the optics mount. It should be fitted through this groove and thus reduce the tension for the crank cocking device. The crank cocking device is not built for direct tensioning of the string. If the crank cocking device is used incorrectly, you could seriously injure yourself and damage your crossbow. In addition, the crank cocking device will lose its warranty.
