Licensed replicas of GLOCK pistols

Anyone who has ever been involved with guns, or even marginally interested in them, has probably heard of the GLOCK brand. GLOCK pistols are used by many armed forces around the world. This brand is also extremely popular among civilian gun owners around the world. So let's talk a little more about this brand.

ABOUT THE GLOCK BRAND IN GENERAL

Despite being very young compared to other global gun brands, the GLOCK brand is considered to be extremely high-quality, reliable and legendary. It was founded in 1963 in Austria, but did not start developing its first pistol until 1980. Until this point, it was dedicated to the production of small items such as curtain rods, drawers and later field blades and knives. The brand is named after its founder Gaston Glock. The brand came to pistol production following an army requirement for a new self-loading pistol.

The first pistol was created in 1982 and was named GLOCK 17. Yes, the well-known and famous GLOCK 17 model has been on the market for more than 40 years and has undergone several generations of modifications and improvements during that time. A typical feature of GLOCK pistols is the polymer frame and the Safe Action trigger mechanism. Currently, the GLOCK brand offers many models of pistols in different calibers.

You can find GLOCK pistols on the market in designs such as air or airsoft pistols. However, these are not originals from the Austrian workshop of this brand. In fact, the license for the production of replicas in various forms is held by the German company UMAREX GmbH & Co. KG. Only this German company is allowed to produce and market a replica GLOCK pistol with the proper inscriptions, markings and logos of this brand.

GLOCK AS AIRSOFT

The GLOCK 17 is, which is also available in an airsoft version as a third generation or fourth generation, is certainly worth mentioning. Both models are equipped with the Blow-Back system, thanks to which the slide moves with each shot as on real self-loading pistols. The range is also represented by the smaller and also very well-known GLOCK 19 model, which is also available in a cheaper version without the Blow-Back function or in a military version as the GLOCK 19X with the Blowback function. All of the above-mentioned models are powered by the CO2 system contained in the cartridge.

GLOCK AS AN AIR GUN

Also, in the category of air CO2 pistols there is no lack of representation of the GLOCK 17 model as a version in cal. 4.5 mm for steel shot for hobby shooting or for standard pellets for more accurate target shooting. Fans of the GLOCK 19 will be pleased with the model for steel pellets without Blow-Back function or the military version GLOCK 19X with Blow-Back function.

OTHER FORMS OF GLOCK REPLICA PISTOLS

A particularly popular replica is the T4E GLOCK 17 pistol, which fires rubber projectiles, dye marker projectiles, or tear agent projectiles with up to 5 Joules of energy. The GLOCK 17 is also produced as a replica in the form of an expansion pistol (so-called gas pistol) for 9 mm P.A. cartridges. Knall.
