Airsoft replica CZ SCORPION EVO 3 A1

The CZ SCORPION EVO 3 submachine gun was created in 2009 by taking over and improving the Slovak prototype of the LAUGO submachine gun. It is the third generation of the "Scorpion" series. Ceska zbrojovka produces the A1 version with the possibility of firing in full-auto mode and the S1 version with the possibility of firing in semi-auto mode. The A1 version belongs to the armament of various armed forces around the world, and the S1 version has also found many sport shooting fans around the world. The most widely used version is the 9 x 19 (Luger) caliber. A replica of this weapon in the form of an airsoft submachine gun has been produced by no one but the Danish airsoft weapons manufacturer ActionSportGames A/S (ASG) since 2014, and to this day this replica has received many awards.

BASIC DESCRIPTION

Airsoft submachine gun SCORPION EVO 3 A1 is supplied in a black illustrated box, inside of which you will also find a pictorial manual. The contents of the package include the gun, one magazine and detachable sights (rear sight + front sight). At a glance, you will already get the feeling that this is not a cheap toy or an airsoft design for beginners. This feeling is further enhanced as soon as you hold this airsoft submachine gun in your hand.

The realistic weight of 2,300 g is achieved by using a combination of high-quality metal and polymer parts. The metal parts are CNC machined; the outer shell is made of polymer. This airsoft gun from the Proline series is not made in China or Taiwan; it is made and assembled in Denmark.

There are bottom, side and top mounting rails on the weapon that allow for the installation of a wide range of accessories such as a red dot sight, tactical flashlight and laser sight. The stock is both folding and telescopic. The slide release button and slide lever are located on the left side. The magazine release button and firing mode switch are located on both sides. There are also three loops on the body for the use of a carrying strap (sling). The barrel is finished with a thread on which a silencer can be installed.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The SCORPION EVO 3 A1 airsoft submachine gun has a projectile energy of up to 1.40 J and a muzzle velocity of up to 400 fps (120 m/s). The weapon is powered by a slim 11.1 V Li-Po battery that is inserted through the foregrip into the body. The connector type is T-Plug (T-Dean). Of course, there is also an option to upgrade. The magazine is specific to this gun and has a capacity of 75 rounds of 6 mm BB. Due to the performance of this airsoft submachine gun, you can use a wide range of pellet weights (from 0.20g to 0.30g). The ambidextrous firing mode switch features four positions (safe, semi-auto, 3-shot burst, full-auto). The adjustable Hop-Up function is a matter of course. The total length ranges from 425 to 625 mm, depending on the stock setting. The barrel length is 208 mm and the weight is 2,300 g.

SPECIFICS OF THE SCORPION EVO 3 A1

This model is equipped with Quick spring change, electronic trigger (Mosfet), electronically controlled GEARBOX, Ultimate motor, four-position ambidextrous firing mode switch, bronze barrel with a diameter of 6.03 mm, empty magazine detection function, thanks to which it does not fire unless there is a loaded magazine in the gun, CNC machined parts, advanced control unit (ECU) and others.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, this is indeed a serious replica of the SCORPION EVO 3 A1 submachine gun from the Proline series. The performance, range and target acquisition really please. An interesting impression is added by the possibility of firing by three shots (3-shot burst). The sound during firing is interesting, you can hear that there are quality parts inside the submachine gun. Before the first shot, it is necessary to pull the slide lever and release it with the trigger button. The weapon is unable to dry-fire thanks to the empty magazine detection feature. The slide lever can be swapped from left to right, which will please left-handed shooters.

The only downside is perhaps the more complicated installation of the battery via the foregrip and the firing mode switch that can be a bit confusing, especially for larger hands. The battery and charger are not included, but this cannot be criticized in an airsoft gun from the Proline series. Any experienced player can choose the right accessories.

Remember that airsoft guns with such advanced electronics must not be connected to a battery when not in use. Even a couple of hours of battery connection without use (shooting) can drain the battery. The complete discharge of the Li-Po battery can subsequently result in irreversible damage to the battery.
