This signal ammunition is according to the manufacturer intended for expansion / gas weapong in cal. 6 mm or 8 mm (.315). In our experience, this signal ammunition can also be used for calibers 9 mm P.A. / R Knall, but since the ammunition 9 mm P.A. / R Knall is significantly stronger than ammunition in cal. 6 mm or 8 mm (.315), so it is possible, that some flares will fail when fired with ammunition 9 mm P.A. / R Knall.
