It is a very effective defense, used around the world, also known as palm-stick, Yawara, pasak, or dulo dulo. Kubotan is made of hard plastic and, when used correctly, multiplies the user's defense and attack abilities. Kubotan is a product that has been developed for special purposes, namely specific blows and pressures on nerve points and areas of the human body (especially the neck area). The middle part is knurled, which allows a better and firmer grip of Kubotan in the palm. Kubotan can be hung on keys with the help of an eyelet and can also serve as a pendant.
