Bible give aways with gun purchase

Friday, 08 July 2016

biblia k zbraniamA great curiosity at an army gun shop in Tennessee - With every gun you get a Bible and an American, or Confederate, flag as a gift.

This is the advertisement chosen by a small shop in Oakland, USA, and it applies to every gun, ammunition pack, or gun holster.

When the shop owner was asked why he used this style of promotion and advertising, his response was: "Why not?". He considers free flags and Bibles to be a very patriotic gesture.

As absurd as it may seem, customers are very appreciative of the move. Sales of all guns have increased, from inexpensive $200 pistols to expensive and professional guns in the $20,000 price range - all going on sale.

The owner of the army shop also revealed that the reason for this style of advertising was that he had reached a point in his life where he was tired of people criticizing and attacking his moral values and beliefs.  Therefore, he decided that this was his way of supporting others who, like him, believe in traditional American values.
"I believe in the right to bear arms and I believe in freedom of religion. There is a piece of history behind both the American and Confederate flags that should not be forgotten. With this move, I want to support the rights of people to believe in guns, God and country.

He said that everyone has rights - if you are an atheist, be one. "I'm a very open-minded person when it comes to politics.  If you believe in God, feel free to keep believing in God. If you believe in the American Confederate flag and the history that goes with it, so be it - you have that right. All of those things are inherently more important to me than the business itself. I try to support anyone who has the same, or at least similar, views as I do.
"What is your opinion of "traditional American values"? Would you welcome something like that in Slovakia?

Americké hodnoty sa líšia od tých našich.
