The fusil vs. 24 is Czechoslovak army fusil which was produced in Czechoslovakia since 1924 to 1942.
It was Czechoslovak version of the fusil of Mauser 98 system that was made and used in different countries.
In 1922 was decided that army used the fusil of Mauser system.
There was finding its most suitable modification (size, sights, bayonet mount – fro way of carrying by the rifles and cavalry).
After the recent models 98/22, 23 and 23a, the model 24 was defined as the main individual weapon in Czechoslovak army up to 1939.
It had excellent construction and in the world is considered the best military rook rifle of Mauser system.
