It is designed for professional and also amateur hunters and sporting shooters.
The flobert is known thanks to its accuracy and is very popular in the U.S., Australia and New Zeeland, but also in Europe.
The weapon has simple but durable construction.
The standard model has 17 convolutions and back safety pin similar to the old BSA flobert, it is same for example by the BSA Sportman models.
In 1978 TOZ Company prepared additional model 17-01.
This model was very similar to the base model.
The most significant change was a lateral safety pin to ensure fire.
The barrel is not so long as by the standard floberts and it is more similar to carabine’ type of firearms.
The gun has preparation to mount optics but it requires high rings for the back part of sights.
A receiver has standard mounting with dovetail but it requires high mounting to release range of front sight.
The length of pull is standard for this type of carabines.
These floberts were made in Soviet Union and so it brings “Made in Soviet Union” sign.
Other general sign is logo of Tula Arsenal Company and serial number.
The magazines are not so available on the market.
Many owners lost original magazine and at this moment there are no copies of perfect quality.
