This gun was constructed to fire special ammunition into the closed objects, for example to rescue hostages from buildings.
RV-85 is a single-shot rifle designed for firing ammunition of 8x57 short Mauser calibers. It ahs a barrel of 500mm length with smooth chrome plated bore. 
The closure is folded, controlled with a parietal loop; by the opening of the closure is a hammer tension and it is automatic secured; the gun has also imposed fuse placed in front part of the guard. 
Cartridges’ removement is realized with pull-off device under the barrel; when opening the closure the pull-off device pulls the cartridges from the chamber and allows shooter to remove it.
