A decorative replica of the German assault rifle StG 44 (Sturmgewehr 44, MP43/44, used in WW2), not capable of firing. The rifle has moving parts and a removable magazine. The stock is made of wood, supplied with an adjustable strap. The German army introduced the rifle into its armament before the end of WW2. Production of the StG 44 began in October 1943 and continued until May 1945.
