PCP PISTOLS
The principle of PCP (Pre-Charged Pneumatics) air guns is that they have directly built-in pressure reservoirs which, when pressurized, are capable of firing several shots. How many rounds they are capable of firing depends, of course, on the capacity of the container and the projectile energy to which the air gun is tuned. The most common method of filling these reservoirs is either by manual pumping using a special hand pump or by using pressurized cylinders. No carbon dioxide or other special gas is needed to fill them, just plain air is sufficient. They are characterized by excellent accuracy, low shot noise and negligible recoil. The most popular models include the Benajmin Marauder Pistol by the American company Crosman or the Alfa Sport by the Czech manufacturer Alfa-Proj.
A special subcategory of PCP guns are pump system guns. They are equipped with a pump lever, which is, for example in the case of the popular Crosman 1377 model, built into the lower handguard. Thus, by moving the lower handguard you pressurize the built-in plunger and then use the accumulated pressure for a single shot. By the number of pumps, you also control the projectile energy. If you need lower energy, you pump fewer times. If you need to achieve a higher projectile energy, you pump more times. Of course, pumping "endlessly" is not possible, every such gun is equipped with a pressure relief valve that will release the pressure if you over-pump the air rifle beyond its factory parameters. A popular powerful pumping model is the Zoraki model HP-01, which is also produced in cal. 4.5 mm and 5.5 mm. It's a time-tested Turkish model that comes in both a standard version and an extended barrel version called ULTRA. We also have accessories for this model, such as an extended stock or a left-handed grip.
