Rear dot mount for submachine gun vz.58

It is made of duralumin called Certal with anodized finish. This ensures its high strength, shape stability and at the same time significantly lower weight compared to steel mounts. The mounting of the weapon is solved by the means of two screws in the distance sleeves. The initial assembly should be performed by an experienced gunsmith, as it is important to drill the screw holes precisely so that the rail axis is then parallel to the barrel axis. After precise mounting, PICATINY mount is directly above the axis of the barrel, so there is no lateral displacement and the mounting does not significantly disrupt the side line of the weapon and therefore it does not catch on the shooter's equipment. When using the slide cocking handle on the left side, the mount has a recess to prevent hand from getting caught. Nevertheless, pulling with the left hand requires an extra attention. When disassembling for cleaning purposes (in order to be able to remove the sheet metal cover with springs from the weapon), it is sufficient to unscrew the two locking screws. Even after repeated removal and installation of the mount, the optics keeps the shot unchanged. This type of mount is designed especially for users who prefer a stock by FAB-DEFENSE with metal joint. After shouldering the weapon, the optical sight system is right in front of the eyes, which significantly reduces aiming time.
